Sexual perversion in evacuation hotels.. Two Israelis rape children and the police reveal surprises
Watan-Two Israelis committed sexual assaults against children in one of the hotels where Israelis were evacuated from northern areas due to the ongoing confrontation with Hezbollah.
The “Walla” website reported that charges were filed against Zion and Finono, suspected of engaging in inappropriate acts (sexual assault) against children in a hotel evacuated in Hertzelia. They face charges of sexual deviance and inappropriate behavior.
Finono, 64, from Kiryat Shmona, who moved from his city to a hotel after the northern war, was arrested about three weeks ago.
Officers from the Gelot Police Center began investigating on February 8th, immediately after receiving a report from the mother of a 4-year-old girl to the police station regarding suspicions of sexual crimes. After initial investigation, the police arrested Finono.
According to the police, during the initial stages of the investigation, suspicions arose regarding sexual assault on several other minors. According to the suspicions, Finono exploited his stay as an evacuee in the hotel. During activities for the evacuated families’ children staying with him at the hotel in Hertzelia, he approached the activity areas and lured children, aged between three and seven, to go with him to his room where he committed indecent acts with them.
As the investigation progressed, the police revealed suspicions of committing serious and long-term sexual assaults and harassment against another minor, for several years from the age of 6 until he reached 15 years old.
Homosexual acts were committed by the suspect against the child while he and his father were at their home.
When the investigation concluded, the prosecutor’s statement was filed against Finono last week, and it is expected today that the Tel Aviv district prosecutor’s office will file serious charges against him for committing serious crimes related to homosexuality and indecent acts.
Escalating sexual assaults
Israeli reports have often revealed cases of rape, sexual assaults, and violence against Israeli evacuees from northern and southern areas inside evacuation hotels in Tel Aviv and other areas of the occupying state.
The “Times of Israel” newspaper previously stated that the Israeli Knesset’s Women’s Committee held a session where testimonies were heard about women and children being subjected to sexual violence inside hotels they were evacuated to after the attacks of October 7th last year.
A report by the newspaper indicated that police representatives before the Knesset committee spoke about opening 116 cases related to people living in evacuation hotels, including 40 cases of domestic violence.
The newspaper report also pointed out that a young girl living in a hotel for Israeli evacuees due to the war was sexually assaulted by a man living in the same hotel, according to social care expert Meri Frank, in her testimony before the committee.
