Israel Moves Toward Largest Forced Displacement Yet in Northern Gaza

Over 47 Palestinians Killed in 24 Hours as Occupation Army Issues Mass Evacuation Orders in Gaza City and Jabalia

Watan-Israel is moving toward carrying out the largest forced displacement operation in northern parts of the Gaza Strip and Gaza City, even as it continues killing Palestinian civilians. Since dawn on Sunday, more than 47 people have been killed, including women and children, in addition to many others injured.

Occupation forces have deliberately destroyed numerous homes in areas of ground incursion across various parts of the Gaza Strip.

At the same time, the Israeli army issued “evacuation orders” covering most neighborhoods of Gaza City and the Jabalia refugee camp.

Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency, warned of the grave dangers stemming from Israel’s threats to implement “the largest forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza” as a prelude to launching a new, devastating military operation.

At least 51 Palestinians, including 9 seeking aid, were killed and several others injured across the Gaza Strip since dawn Saturday, due to multiple Israeli attacks involving shelling and gunfire.

This comes as U.S. President Donald Trump renewed his call for a Gaza agreement, after previously suggesting such a deal was close.

However, a senior official from a Palestinian faction told Al-Quds Al-Arabi that recent U.S. statements about the possibility of a near-term ceasefire agreement to end the war in Gaza “do not reflect the actual reality,” and described them as “American manipulation.”

Meanwhile, the Associated Press quoted an Israeli official saying that plans are underway for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Washington in the coming weeks—signaling possible progress toward a new agreement.
