Israeli Warplanes Strike Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley Amid Tensions with Hezbollah
Israeli airstrikes hit multiple areas in eastern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in a renewed escalation despite ceasefire agreements.

According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency, the Israeli Air Force carried out two raids west of Baalbek — the first targeting the outskirts of the town of Shmustar, and the second striking Wadi Umm Ali in eastern Lebanon.
The local Al Jadeed TV reported that Israeli airstrikes also targeted the mountainous regions surrounding the towns of Brital, Tarya, and Boudai in the Bekaa Valley, eastern Lebanon.

Israel continues to carry out strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as in the southern suburb of Beirut, despite a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024. Additionally, Israeli forces remain present at five positions in southern Lebanon.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said today that the ongoing strikes in Lebanon are a clear message to Hezbollah, which he claimed is planning to rebuild its offensive capabilities via its elite Radwan Force.
