Netanyahu Orders Military Action After Bus Explosions in Tel Aviv

Following the explosion of three empty buses in Tel Aviv, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu orders intensified operations in the West Bank and increased security measures across Israeli cities.

Watan-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered an intensive operation against what he called “terror hubs” in the West Bank following the explosion of at least three empty buses in Tel Aviv on Thursday evening. Police have described the incident as a “suspected terrorist attack.”

Netanyahu’s office announced on the social media platform X that the prime minister directed the Israeli military to carry out operations in the West Bank, while also instructing the police and security forces to “increase preventive activities against additional attacks in Israeli cities.”

The statement added: “Following an attempted series of mass bus bombings, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has just completed a security assessment with the defense minister, the chief of staff of the Israeli army, the head of Shin Bet, and the inspector general of the Israeli police.”

On Thursday evening, three empty buses exploded in a southern suburb of Tel Aviv.

According to initial reports, no injuries were recorded.
