Courtroom Chaos: Son Attempts to Murder Father’s Alleged Killer During Trial

Watan-The horrifying footage captured the moment a young man attempted to kill a suspect accused of killing his father during his trial, after he pulled out a gun and fired six shots at him before hitting him with the butt of his gun.

The surveillance video from inside the courtroom in “São José do Belmonte,” Brazil, shows judges and jury members running for their lives after Cristiano Alves Terto, 27, opened fire.

In an attempt to shoot the alleged killer of his father, “Francisco Cledivaldo Mariano de Moura,” Terto can be seen standing at the back of the room after attending a jury session.

The footage shows the young man sneaking alongside other jury members as a woman grabs his arm in a clear attempt to prevent Terto from carrying out the attack.

However, he manages to break free from her grip and rushes towards the sitting area before starting his attack on Moura.

Murder of Terto’s Father

As the young man approaches Moura to seek revenge, he pulls out his gun and starts firing, but it appears he stumbles.

Meanwhile, the suspect is seen running to take cover behind the judge’s desk as Terto follows him angrily while shooting.

During this, jury members are seen fleeing the scene as Terto continues his rampage.

During Moura’s attempt to escape, he falls to the ground behind a table, while Terto attacks him and assaults him with the butt of his gun.

The attack occurred in November of last year, but the footage was only released on Tuesday.

Terto was arrested the day after the incident. The gun used, a .38 caliber, was seized according to military police.

He was then remanded in custody pending investigation on November 30th.

Reports conflicted about the incident, with some saying all shots fired by Terto missed, while others claimed Moura was hit by six bullets.

It is currently unclear whether Moura was hit by any of the shots, but he has since been discharged from the hospital.

Terto’s father was killed in retaliation after Moura allegedly shot him on October 5, 2012.

According to his confessions, he was searching for a lost donkey on his property.

When he found Alves on his farm, he asked if he had seen it, only for Alves to respond: “Get out of my property, you dirty little thief.”

A heated argument ensued between the two, as Alves grabbed a wooden stick and approached him, according to “Daily Mail.”

Moura then fired a shot into the air in an attempt to scare him. But according to reports, Alves continued to move towards him. He then fired a second shot on the ground as Alves kept advancing. He then fired a third shot that hit him in the abdomen.

Alves was transported to a local hospital before being transferred to a larger facility in Arcoverde, where he died 18 days after the shooting.

Moura then fled before being apprehended.
