Netanyahu Vows Harsh Retaliation After Iranian Missile Hits Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva
Israeli Officials Condemn Strike as “Deliberate” and “Criminal” Targeting of a Civilian Medical Facility Amid Escalating Iran-Israel War
Watan-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Thursday that Iran “will pay a heavy price” after a missile struck Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, southern Israel.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Netanyahu stated:“This morning, the terrorist tyrants in Iran launched missiles at Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva and at civilians in central Israel. We will make the tyrants in Tehran pay a heavy price.”
Earlier, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the direct hit on the hospital following a new barrage of missiles launched by Iran.

The ministry wrote:“Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva in southern Israel has been directly hit.”
A spokesperson for the hospital added that the facility sustained extensive damage in multiple areas.“We are currently assessing the damage, including injuries. We urge citizens not to come to the hospital at this time.”
Later, Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel condemned the strike as a “deliberate” and “criminal” act.
She wrote on X:“Iran just hit Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva with a ballistic missile. This is not a military base—it’s a hospital. It’s the main medical center for the entire Negev region. Deliberate. Criminal. A civilian target. The world must act.”
