Earlier in the day, the Qassam Brigades targeted a Zionist “Merkava” tank with a “Yassin 105” shell, stating that it caught fire in the Jourat Al-Aqad area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the ongoing battles on the 119th day of the war, Palestinian resistance factions declared that they caused Israeli soldiers casualties and injuries amid intense clashes in Khan Yunis and Gaza City. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continued their heavy shelling of residential areas, resulting in new casualties.
While anticipation surrounds the efforts aiming for a prisoner exchange deal that could pave the way for a ceasefire, internal disagreements within the Israeli war government escalate, with Netanyahu’s partners threatening to withdraw from the War Council.
