Israel Offers Withdrawal from Morag, Plans to Stay in Rafah
Al-Qassam Brigade urges Israeli soldiers to surrender as Israel seeks urgent U.S. military support and proposes partial withdrawal plans.
Watan-Israel has continued committing massacres in the Gaza Strip as part of an ongoing genocidal war that has lasted over 21 months, with relentless bombardment of displacement zones and humanitarian aid areas. One of the latest strikes targeted the Latin Monastery Church in Gaza City.
From dawn Thursday until Thursday evening, at least 41 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes, according to Palestinian sources.
Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance continues to confront the aggression. Air raid sirens sounded twice on Thursday in Israeli settlements surrounding Gaza, signaling retaliatory rocket fire.
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released a new video message aimed at Israeli troops inside Gaza. The video, titled “To the Nazi Occupation Soldier in Gaza… A Captive is Better than a Corpse,” calls on soldiers to surrender rather than face certain death.
Israeli army spokesperson Efi Dvori admitted that the military is “paying a heavy price” to implement its planned operations in Gaza. He confirmed the continuation of Operation Gideon’s Chariots, including the siege of Gaza City, the bombing of tunnels in northern Gaza, and intensified attacks in Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, Israeli Army Radio reported that Defense Minister Yisrael Katz has arrived in Washington, D.C. to seek urgent U.S. military support and hold a critical meeting with his American counterpart. Katz is expected to request immediate weapons and ammunition shipments and the continued presence of missile batteries in Israel.
On the diplomatic front, Israel continues to leak reports of “progress” in the ongoing indirect ceasefire negotiations.
According to Israel’s public broadcaster, Tel Aviv presented updated withdrawal maps to mediating countries on Thursday, including a proposed significant pullout from the Morag axis.
However, i24NEWS cited sources saying that the real issue is Israel’s military presence in Rafah, not just Morag — implying that even if Israel withdraws from Morag, it plans to retain its occupation of Rafah, a move that Palestinian negotiators are likely to reject.
