Turkish president urges diplomatic resolution to nuclear tensions, warns of regional instability and impact on Europe.

Watan-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned on Friday that Israeli strikes on Iran could lead to a wave of migration impacting both Europe and the broader region.

According to a statement from his office, Erdogan told German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during a phone call that:”The spiral of violence caused by Israeli attacks could harm the region and Europe through migration flows, along with the risk of nuclear leakage.”

He emphasized that the solution to the nuclear dispute with Iran lies “through negotiations”, adding that the recent violence has “raised the threat to regional security to its highest level.” Erdogan reaffirmed that Turkey is actively working to end the conflict.
