More than 5,000 Israelis have been displaced as a result of Iranian missile attacks.

Israeli Authorities Report 5,110 Displaced; Health Ministry Warns of Rising Casualties Amid Ongoing Missile and Drone Attacks.

Watan-Israeli data shows that thousands of Israelis have been displaced since the start of Israel’s military assault on Iran, which has resulted in the deaths of 24 people and injuries to more than 2,000. According to the Hebrew news outlet Ynet on Thursday, citing the Interior Ministry, 5,110 individuals have officially been classified as displaced. They are currently receiving temporary housing in hotels or shelters funded by the government.

The highest numbers of displaced individuals come from Ramat Gan (955), Petah Tikva (945), Tel Aviv (907), Bat Yam (812), Bnei Brak (550), and Rehovot (368) — all heavily affected by Iranian missile strikes. The Israeli Interior Ministry expects to increase municipal budgets in these war-hit areas, with discussions underway for over 8 million shekels in additional aid to affected cities, and 2 million shekels allocated specifically for the displaced.

Israel’s Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 271 people were hospitalized Thursday morning following a fresh missile barrage that hit Beersheba, Holon, and Ramat Gan, causing significant damage. Four individuals were reported in serious condition, with other sources stating six serious cases.

Since the outbreak of war, 2,345 people have been hospitalized:

  • 21 in serious condition

  • 87 moderate

  • 2,105 minor injuries

  • 99 suffering psychological distress

Currently, 106 patients remain in hospitals, while 149 are still being treated in emergency departments.

Military Developments and Strategic Sites Targeted

According to the Israeli military, Iran has fired approximately 400 missiles at Israel since the beginning of hostilities. Around 20 missiles landed in populated areas, while Iran also launched nearly 1,000 drones, more than 100 of which penetrated Israeli airspace — though none are reported to have hit their intended targets.

Iran launched another missile salvo Thursday morning, as the war between the two nations intensifies. The U.S. has issued warnings about potential military involvement aimed at dismantling Iran’s nuclear program.

Israel claims that a missile hit Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. Tehran, however, stated the intended target was a military and intelligence facility located near the hospital, not the hospital itself.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Thursday that Iran "will pay a heavy price" after a missile struck Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, southern Israel.

Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Facilities

Israel reported that it has struck Iran’s Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities, while a military spokesman initially claimed that Bushehr, Iran’s only operational nuclear power plant, was also hit — a statement that was later retracted.

Bushehr, located on the Gulf coast, uses Russian-supplied fuel, which is returned to Moscow post-usage to minimize nuclear proliferation risk. Russia’s embassy in Tehran confirmed that Bushehr is operating normally, with no reported threats to the facility.
