Watan-U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee announced Monday that a building affiliated with the American diplomatic mission in Tel Aviv suffered minor damage due to Iranian missile strikes on Israel overnight.
Huckabee wrote on his account on the platform X (formerly Twitter): “Some damage occurred due to the blast shockwaves of Iranian missile strikes near the U.S. embassy branch in Tel Aviv.”
He also noted that the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem would remain closed on Monday, as Israeli authorities continue to enforce shelter-in-place directives.
Iran launched a series of missile strikes on Israel overnight Sunday into Monday in response to Israel’s continued offensive on Iranian territory, which began last Friday.
Our @usembassyjlm US Embassy in Israel & Consulate will officially remain closed today as shelter in place still in effect. Some minor damage from concussions of Iranian missile hits near Embassy Branch in @TelAviv but no injuries to US personnel.

Residential buildings in Tel Aviv were hit and damaged during the strikes, and rescue teams have been inspecting the affected areas.
The Israeli army repeatedly urged residents of the coastal city to take shelter throughout the night due to the risk of incoming Iranian missiles.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump called on both Iran and Israel to reach a settlement, emphasizing that Washington “could become involved” in the conflict, though it is “not currently engaged.”
