UNRWA: Gaza Needs 500–600 Aid Trucks Daily to Avoid Further Catastrophe

UN agency warns that uninterrupted aid flow is vital to prevent Gaza’s humanitarian disaster from worsening.

Watan-The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated on Sunday that the Gaza Strip requires between 500 and 600 aid trucks daily to meet urgent humanitarian needs.

In a Facebook post published today, UNRWA emphasized:“A meaningful and uninterrupted flow of aid into Gaza is the only way to prevent the current catastrophe from escalating further.”

The agency added that the minimum daily requirement is 500 to 600 trucks, all coordinated and managed by the United Nations, including UNRWA.

“The people of Gaza can’t wait any longer,” the agency warned.
