Pakistan Downs 25 Israeli-Made Indian Drones Amid Most Dangerous Military Clash in Decades
Islamabad accuses New Delhi of a severe provocation after drone attacks kill 32 and injure several, as tensions between the nuclear rivals reach alarming new levels.
Watan-The Pakistani military announced on Thursday that it has so far shot down 25 Israeli-made drones launched by India since Wednesday night, following a military confrontation that is considered the most dangerous between New Delhi and Islamabad in two decades.
In a statement, the military said these drones were intercepted “using both technical and military means,” adding that 12 Indian drones had already been neutralized at multiple locations as cross-border operations continued.
In this context, Pakistani army spokesperson Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif stated that an Indian drone targeted a military site near Lahore overnight, injuring four soldiers.
The military reported that the total death toll from the Indian attacks—which occurred overnight—had reached 32 people.

The spokesperson added that one civilian was killed and another injured in Sindh province in the south, after debris from downed drones fell on a residential area.
He said:“India has once again carried out a blatant military act against Pakistan by sending drones into multiple areas.”
He added:“This is a highly dangerous provocation in an already volatile region, putting both regional and broader security at risk.”
The military stressed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain on full alert against any kind of threat.
Meanwhile, Pakistani authorities have suspended operations at four major airports, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot, until 6 p.m. local time (13:00 GMT).
