Israel Pushes Gaza Deportation Plan Amid Ongoing Massacres and Secret Diplomacy Rumors

During ceasefire and hostage-exchange negotiations in Doha, the Israeli delegation presented conditions that observers say are designed to pave the way for the mass displacement of Palestinians. These include preventing over 700,000 people from returning to their homes and relocating them to massive detention zones in Rafah, under full Israeli control.

Sources told Al Jazeera that Israel’s proposed map maintains occupation over all of Rafah and large parts of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Umm al-Nasr in the north. In some areas, Israel plans to control up to 3 km inside Gaza’s border.

The goal: to turn Rafah into a displacement hub, from which Palestinians may eventually be deported to Egypt or sent by sea. Channel 12 in Israel confirmed that Tel Aviv agreed to leave the Morag corridor (between Rafah and Khan Younis) but insisted on retaining control over 2-3 km north of the Philadelphi Corridor, near Egypt’s border.

According to Israeli plans, a refugee camp would be built there to house hundreds of thousands, potentially preparing them for forced deportation.

🇲🇷 Mauritania Denies Secret Talks with Israel

The Wall Street Journal claimed that US-brokered secret talks occurred between Mauritanian and Israeli officials, supposedly aimed at reestablishing diplomatic ties.

However, Nouakchott flatly denied the claims. Mauritania’s ambassador to Washington, Sissah bint Cheikh Ould Bideh, called the report “completely false.” There is no scheduled meeting between President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani and Netanyahu, she emphasized.

A senior Israeli official added, “We have no knowledge of any such meeting.”

This casts doubt on the story’s credibility, raising the question: “If neither side confirms it — who was negotiating with whom?”
