Strike on Gaza Displacement Center Kills 11, Pushing Wednesday Death Toll Above 70

Air and Artillery Attacks on Al-Zaytoun Endowments Shelter Claim Lives of Mostly Children Amid Dire Humanitarian Crisis.

Watan-Israel committed a new massacre on Wednesday in the Gaza Strip by bombing a government building that housed displaced persons in the eastern part of Gaza City, resulting in a number of casualties—most of them children—according to Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal.

Basal reported that the strike targeted a shelter center run by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza, noting that medical teams are unable to cope with the large number of victims, most of whom are children. He appealed to the international community to stop the daily massacres against Palestinian civilians.

Local media sources stated that the number of Palestinians killed in the strike rose to 11, up from an initial toll of three martyrs.

The total number of victims of the genocidal campaign in the Gaza Strip since Wednesday dawn has risen above 70 martyrs, including 15 people who had been waiting for aid. This follows a series of air and artillery raids across multiple areas, as Israel continues to escalate its military operations amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation marked by severe shortages of food, medicine, and water.
