48 Palestinians, Including Aid Recipients, Killed in Fresh Israeli Airstrikes and Shootings Across Gaza
Attacks on Homes and Aid Queues from Jabalia to Khan Yunis Deepen Humanitarian Catastrophe.
Watan-Since dawn on Wednesday, 48 Palestinians—including 15 people waiting for humanitarian aid—have been martyred and dozens more wounded in Israeli airstrikes and live fire across the Gaza Strip.
These attacks come amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the territory, the result of what Palestinians and many international observers describe as a genocidal campaign by Israel that has now lasted 21 months.

On Tuesday, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that, since the start of the US-Israeli “humanitarian mechanism” on May 27, some 600 Palestinians have been killed and 4,278 injured at aid distribution points. The UN and major relief organizations have refused to coordinate with this Israeli-American “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.”
In Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood, eight Palestinians were injured when an Israeli airstrike struck an apartment in the al-Mushahera area. Al-Tuffah and al-Zaytoun districts also came under heavy shelling and airstrikes overnight.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel—backed by unconditional US support—is accused of committing genocide in Gaza, leaving approximately 191,000 Palestinians dead or injured (most of them women and children), over 11,000 missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced.
