Israel Assassinates Iran’s New Chief of Staff in Precision Strike Inside Secret Facility

Ali Shadmani killed just days after his appointment; Israeli intelligence reportedly tracked and targeted him deep inside Iran.

Watan-In a major escalation of the ongoing confrontation between Israel and Iran, Israeli sources have revealed new details about the assassination of Iran’s newly appointed Chief of Staff, Ali Shadmani, who had only assumed his post a few days earlier.

According to a report by the Hebrew-language outlet Walla, the highly precise operation was carried out inside a secret military facility in central Iran, where Shadmani was overseeing operations and issuing commands to Iranian forces. Israeli intelligence located his position, and upon confirmation, the Israeli Chief of Staff authorized the strike, while the Air Force commander ordered the launch of five precision-guided missiles to ensure his elimination.

The strike killed Shadmani along with a senior Iranian intelligence officer. Israeli military sources say such deep-target operations in Iran are conducted in the same manner as strikes in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria—characterized by rapid decision-making, precise intelligence, and a focus on decapitating command centers.

Since the beginning of the war between the two countries, Israel claims it has assassinated more than 30 senior Iranian commanders, including former Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, IRGC Commander Hossein Salami, and several nuclear scientists.
