Trump Hails Israeli Strikes on Iran as “Excellent,” Warns of More to Come

In interviews with U.S. media, Donald Trump praised Israel's assault on Iranian targets, confirmed prior knowledge of the operation, and urged Tehran to strike a nuclear deal “before it’s too late.”

Watan-U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday in an interview with ABC News that Israel’s attack on Iran was “excellent” and warned of more to come.

According to the channel’s reporter on X, Trump said:“I think it was excellent. We gave them a chance and they didn’t take it. They got hit hard—very hard… and there’s much more to come.”

Later, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump and his team had been aware of Israel’s plan to attack Iran. When asked about the nature of the warning received by the U.S., Trump replied in a brief phone interview:“A warning? It wasn’t a warning—we knew what was happening.”

He added that he had spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the day before and intended to speak with him again soon.

Trump Warns Iran: “Make a Deal or Face Greater Destruction”

Trump described the Israeli operation as a “highly successful strike—and that’s an understatement.”

Earlier on Friday, Trump warned Iran of “even more brutal attacks” from Israel and urged it to reach a nuclear deal.“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal,” he wrote on Truth Social. “I told them in the strongest terms: just do it. But no matter how close they got—they couldn’t do it.”

In a clear reference to U.S. weapons used by Israel, he added:“I told them it would be far worse than they know or expect. The U.S. makes the best and deadliest military equipment in the world—and Israel has a lot of it. More is coming—and they know how to use it.”

Hebrew media outlets reported Friday that an Israeli security source disclosed Mossad had long ago established a base for launching explosive drones inside Iranian territory,

Trump went on to say:“Some of the hardliners in Iran talked tough—but they didn’t know what was coming. They’re all dead now. And it’s going to get worse. We’ve already seen death and destruction—but there’s still time to stop this carnage. The planned attacks ahead will be even more brutal.”

He ended his post with a warning:“Iran must make a deal before everything is lost and save what was once known as the Persian Empire. No more death. No more destruction. Just do it—before it’s too late. God bless you all!”

Trump Declares Iran “Didn’t See It Coming” as Israel Launches Preemptive Strikes

On Friday morning, Israel launched extensive strikes on Iran under the operation name “Rising Lion,” targeting nuclear sites, ballistic missile factories, and military commanders.

The Israeli army stated:“Following political directives, we launched a preemptive, precise, and integrated strike against Iran’s nuclear program.”

It added:“Dozens of fighter jets just completed the opening salvo, hitting multiple military targets of the Iranian regime, including nuclear objectives across Iran.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei addressed his people, vowing “severe punishment” in retaliation for the attacks.
