148 Palestinians Killed in 24 Hours as Israel Expands Gaza Ground Invasion

Gaza endures another deadly day as Israeli forces intensify airstrikes, destroy hospital walls, and launch a new invasion amid staggering civilian losses.

Watan-Five Palestinian civilians were killed and several others injured on Sunday evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a home in the northwestern area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, raising the total death toll in the past 24 hours to 148 martyrs.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the strike hit the home of the Abu Al-Rous family near Hamad City, killing five and injuring others. Medical sources later confirmed that one of the wounded succumbed to his injuries at the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, after being struck in a previous drone attack.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has carried out what is widely described as acts of genocide against the population of Gaza, leaving over 174,000 people killed or wounded—most of them children and women—with more than 11,000 still missing and hundreds of thousands forcibly displaced.
