Iran Claims Major Intel Coup Against Israel, Threatens Swift Retaliation on Nuclear Sites
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and IRGC hail acquisition of sensitive Israeli documents as a strategic breakthrough, pledging retaliation for any attack on nuclear or economic infrastructure.
Watan-On Monday evening, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement confirming that the Israeli intelligence documents obtained by Iranian intelligence enable the country’s armed forces to immediately retaliate against any potential Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, including by targeting Israel’s secret nuclear sites.
The Council also warned that any Israeli attack on Iran’s economic or military infrastructure would be met with a response “proportionate to the nature of the aggression.”
The statement described the intelligence operation as a “major strategic achievement” and a product of “quiet, deliberate, and intelligent planning” by the Islamic Republic, countering what it called “enemy propaganda noise.” It emphasized that this success is paired with ongoing military efforts to create operational capabilities tailored to Israel’s vulnerabilities and strengths, and those of its allies.

“Historic Blow” to Israeli Intelligence
On Saturday, Iranian state television reported, citing “informed sources,” that Iranian intelligence services had carried out “one of the greatest intelligence strikes in history” against Israel. According to the broadcast, Iran has acquired thousands of highly sensitive documents, including those related to Israel’s nuclear projects and facilities.
Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib confirmed Sunday that these documents would soon be released publicly. He stated that the materials include nuclear-related content and other strategic information, and that they have already been transferred inside Iran. Khatib also revealed that documents involving the U.S., Europe, and other countries were obtained—though he withheld details.
IRGC Commander: “A Stunning Victory”
Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), General Hossein Salami, hailed the operation as a “surprise victory” and dubbed it “Al-Aqsa Flood 2”. He described the breach of Israel’s security, nuclear, and military infrastructure as proof that “the Islamic Republic is embedded deep within the enemy’s hidden layers.”

Salami declared that Iran had shattered the myth of the Mossad, adding that this new intelligence would enhance Iran’s ability to accurately target strategic Israeli locations and would accelerate efforts to dismantle the Zionist regime.
This development marks a sharp escalation in the Iran-Israel shadow conflict, raising fears of retaliatory action, cyber warfare, or precision missile strikes, particularly in the context of ongoing regional instability. Iranian officials portray the intelligence windfall as a game-changing deterrent in the battle for influence and survival in the Middle East.
