Over 100 Killed in Overnight Israeli Airstrikes Across Gaza, Entire Families Wiped Out

Israeli bombardments target displaced persons and residential homes, killing dozens of women and children; field hospitals also damaged amid rising death toll.

Watan-Health authorities announced on Sunday that Israeli airstrikes killed at least 100 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip overnight.

Khalil Al-Dakran, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated: “We have at least 100 martyrs. Entire families have been erased from the civil registry due to Israeli bombing.”

In the northern Gaza Strip, 8 Palestinians were killed and others injured or missing after an Israeli airstrike targeted the home of the Maqata family in Jabalia town.

Medical sources added that 12 Palestinians were killed, with others injured or missing, in a strike on the Nasr family home in Jabalia Al-Nazla, also in the north.

Another 7 people from the Barawi family were killed in Beit Lahia, with several more missing or injured, according to the same sources.

Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of violent Israeli air raids struck the Tel Al-Zaatar neighborhood east of Jabalia refugee camp, targeting evacuated buildings and homes, causing extensive damage including to the nearby Al-Awda Hospital.

Witnesses also noted continued shelling across eastern Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and both northern and western Beit Lahia.

Medical sources reported that 15 Palestinians—mostly women and children from the Jabr, Ghbon, Madhoun, and Salah families—were killed in an Israeli strike on a house packed with displaced people in the Safatawi area north of Gaza City.

In southern Gaza, 35 Palestinians were killed early Sunday in Israeli airstrikes on tents housing displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, according to medical sources.

The strikes also damaged the Kuwaiti field hospital in Al-Mawasi, shutting down its surgical unit due to bombing near the tents.

Additionally, two Palestinians were killed in an airstrike on the Al-Farra family home in Al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younis.
