Watan-Israeli media reported on Tuesday that three Israeli soldiers were killed and seven others injured, some critically, in a complex ambush targeting the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.
According to the sources, Palestinian fighters set up an ambush for a military force, followed by a second ambush targeting the rescue team that responded to the initial attack.
The wounded soldiers were transported to a hospital in Tel Aviv, and the families of the affected soldiers were notified of the serious security incident in Gaza.
Israeli reports added that the fighters targeted military vehicles, causing them to catch fire.
This development comes amid ongoing and intensifying attacks by the Palestinian resistance on Israeli forces in both southern and northern Gaza.
Earlier, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that they had killed three Israeli soldiers in an operation in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip.
