Algerian State Media Launches Fierce Attack on UAE Rulers Amid Sky News Segment Controversy

Algerian TV Labels UAE Leaders "Dishonorable Dwarfs" and Accuses Abu Dhabi of Sowing Discord and Serving Israeli Interests.

Watan-In a stunning escalation, Algerian state media unleashed a blistering verbal assault on the rulers of the United Arab Emirates, describing them as “bastards, dishonorable, and dwarfs serving Israeli masters.” The attack was triggered by a controversial Sky News Arabia segment—funded by the UAE—which lightly touched on Amazigh identity issues in Algeria and suggested that “internal files” should be opened.

Broadcast on Algerian national television, the official report slammed the UAE leadership, referring to the country as a “fabricated micro-state” that habitually insults a “sovereign and towering Algeria” without cause—other than to seek the favor of artificial allies and ingratiate itself with “bootlicking loyalty” to “masters disturbed by Algeria’s history, heroism, stability, and development.”

The report accused Abu Dhabi’s ruling class of:

  • Spreading propaganda

  • Using media to incite division

  • Undermining Algeria’s unity and identity

It particularly condemned journalist Fadila Souissi, who hosted the Sky News segment, alleging it promoted falsehoods about Algerian identity, Amazigh roots, and constitutional unity.

Key Quotes from the Report:

  • “The fabricated UAE insists on spitting poison through its orphaned satellite channels.”

  • “They insult what Algerians hold dearest—more valuable than oil and gas: their unity, constitution, and national identity.”

  • “The UAE rulers have sold their honor and dignity to bloodthirsty masters who slaughter children and the elderly.”

  • “The hand that reaches for Algeria will be cut off. The foot that steps on its identity will be severed. The tongue that offends it will be torn out.”

The report noted that while Algeria has shown restraint, reverence for “shared salt,” and historical support for the UAE since its founding, Abu Dhabi’s repeated provocations and its alliance with Israeli and Western agendas cross every red line.

Algeria’s message was uncompromising: it will “respond blow for blow” and not mourn the UAE’s betrayal. The statement concluded with a biting line:“Honor is a crown seen only by the honorable; the dishonorable see nothing.”
