Iranian Missile Barrage Hits Tel Aviv and Haifa, Damaging Key Israeli Cities

Dozens injured and critical infrastructure targeted in wave 20 of Iran’s “True Promise 3” strike; air raid sirens sounded across Israel

Watan-Severe material damage struck several areas in Tel Aviv and Haifa following a barrage of Iranian missiles launched on Sunday morning.

Channel 13 reported that 16 people were injured after Iran fired rockets toward Israel. Public television aired footage showing extensive destruction in the central part of the country.

The Magen David Adom emergency service confirmed it was providing medical care and transferring 11 wounded individuals to hospitals, one of whom was moderately injured. The exact locations were not specified.

Footage broadcast by KAN public TV showed a multi-story building in central Israel whose facade was completely destroyed, with significant damage to nearby buildings.

According to Israel Hayom, the Iranian bombardment destroyed more than 10 sites in Haifa (north), Ness Ziona, Rehovot, and Tel Aviv (center).

The Israeli military confirmed Iran had launched two volleys of missiles at Israel this morning, just hours after U.S. strikes on three major nuclear sites in Iran.

Social media videos and images revealed widespread destruction in residential buildings and neighborhoods in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Air raid sirens were heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, followed by loud explosions, as the war between Israel and Iran entered its tenth day.

At approximately 07:30 AM local time (04:30 GMT), Israel’s Home Front Command released a statement:“Moments ago, the military detected missile launches from Iran toward Israeli territory. Air defense systems are actively intercepting threats.”

Separately, Iran’s armed forces declared Sunday that multiple sites in Israel had been targeted, including Ben Gurion Airport.

According to Fars News Agency, a military statement read:“The 20th wave of Operation ‘True Promise 3’ has begun, utilizing a combination of long-range liquid and solid-fueled missiles with destructive warheads.”

Iran claimed the targets included the airport near Tel Aviv, a biological research center, logistical bases, and command and control centers.
