Trump: U.S. Accelerating Food Aid Delivery to Gaza Amid Dire Conditions

President Trump and envoy Steve Wietckoff signal optimism on reaching a Gaza ceasefire, while emphasizing urgent humanitarian aid efforts for Palestinians.

Watan-U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his administration is working to accelerate the delivery of food supplies to Palestinians in Gaza.

Speaking to reporters, he stated:“We’re dealing with the entire situation in Gaza. We are delivering food to the people of Gaza. The situation is very bad.”

For his part, U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Wietckoff said he has “very positive impressions” about the possibility of reaching a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, adding that a new proposal is expected to be sent soon.

Speaking alongside President Trump at the White House, Wietckoff told reporters:“I have very good impressions regarding the possibility of reaching a long-term solution—a temporary ceasefire and a sustainable peaceful resolution to this conflict.”
