Watan-The Israeli army announced on Wednesday the death of seven soldiers during combat operations in southern Gaza.
In a statement, the military added that one soldier was critically wounded on Tuesday in a separate incident in the southern part of the Strip.
The soldiers, aged between 19 and 21, belonged to Combat Engineering Battalion 605, which is primarily responsible for infrastructure demolition tasks.

In a post on Telegram, Al-Qassam stated:“Al-Qassam fighters successfully carried out a complex ambush targeting a Zionist force that had barricaded itself inside a house, using a ‘Yassin-105’ rocket and an RPG in the Old Licensing Area of southern Khan Younis.”
They added that the fighters also opened fire with machine guns, resulting in both fatalities and injuries among the Israeli force.
Al-Qassam further claimed that a Merkava tank was hit in the same area using a “Shawaz” explosive device and another “Yassin-105” rocket.
